Global warming report doesn't convince all

Not everyone is convinced by a new report on global warming, warning of blistering heat waves, violence and even death in Sydney.

Australian Climate Commissioner Tim Flannery claims the number of hot days in the region has jumped by 60 percent since the 70's

But John Perry from Holroyd Council insists there are holes in the research.

"You get periods of hot weather and you get periods of cold weather, I mean, that's been going on from time immemorial and this guy just keeps coming out and making these statements as if he's some sort of expert. I'd hate if he had any money in business because I think I'd go broke."
