By: ARN | International News | Wednesday August 15 2012 13:26

Ecuador's President has denied claims that Julian Assange will be granted political asylum there.

Assange has been hiding at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for several weeks, trying to avoid extradition to Sweden.

There have been claims in the British media that the Leader reportedly agreed to the Wikileaks founder's request.
