Three killed in Texas shooting

In the United States, a gunman has died after a shooting that killed a policeman and another man near the Texas A&M University campus.

Police spokesman Jon Agnew says two other law enforcement officers and another woman also were injured in the shooting in College Station overnight.

Assistant College Station Police Chief Scott Mccollum earlier identified the officer killed as Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann.

The university earlier issued a warning on its website, warning of an active gunman near the campus football stadium and for residents and students to avoid the area.
