A group of researchers working on the 75-year-old mystery of missing American aviator Amelia Earhart say they're well-positioned to find out what happened to her and her navigator when they vanished in the Pacific while on a pioneering flight around the world. The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery says it's found a small cosmetic jar on a remote Pacific island almost identical to a jar of a freckle cream once popular on the market. Spokesman Ric Gillespie says they do know Earhart had freckles and she was conscientious about them. Along with the cosmetic jar they found pieces of a woman's compact, a zip that was manufactured in the 1930s, and a bottle of a brand of hand lotion popular at the time.
