Thousands evacuate as Tropical Storm Isaac nears

| International News | Tuesday August 28 2012 5:32

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled and thousands of people evacuated in the US Gulf states as Tropical Storm Isaac gathers speed and turns into a Hurricane.

Sky News reports four states have declared emergencies.

But some people are reluctant to leave.

It's just about the seventh anniversary since Hurricane Katrina, and this storm is tracking the same path.
