Turkey issues warning over border violations

| International News | Sunday October 14 2012 7:08

Tension between Syria and its neighbour Turkey are close to breaking point.

Violence from the Syrian civil war is spilling across the border as have around 100,000 refugees.

And Turkey's Foreign Minister has warned his country won't tolerate any more border violations.

Turkey expert Fadi Hakura says it's a potentially explosive situation.

"Any kind of military intervention by the Turkish military in Syria can exacerbate the situation, really take it out of control and suck in the regional and international countries."
