Woes piling up for Gillard

By: ARN | International News | Monday April 30 2012 11:17

The woes are piling up for Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

After months of supporting MP Craig Thomson, he's been asked quit the Labor Party over claims he misused a union credit card.

She also now concedes Speaker Peter Slipper can't resume his role until fraud and gay sex harassment allegations are resolved.

And if that wasn't enough, a majority of voters don't want to wait until next year for an election.
