Woman receives compensation after sex injury

An Australian public servant has won a landmark case where she sought compensation after being injured while having sex on a work trip.

The woman sustained facial injuries after a light fitting hit her while she was engaged in the act.

The Federal Court found the injuries were in the course of her employment and were therefore a workplace accident.
