Kiwi facilitating church leaders' meeting in Rome

A big job for a former head of the Anglican Church in New Zealand.

Former Archbishop David Moxon is facilitating a meeting between the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Pope Francis.

He's been given the honour of setting up the meeting, because of his current role as the Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome.

Archbishop of New Zealand Philip Richardson says it's an extraordinary privilege for a Zealander to be involved in facilitating.

The meeting will be held tonight.
