NSW Police assisting in prank call investigation

By: ARN | International News | Monday December 10 2012 11:12

Scotland Yard has begun investigating the royal prank call, linked to the death of a nurse in London.

Jacintha Saldana apparently took her own life, three days after she took the call from two radio hosts.

Nick Kaldas from NSW Police says British police have been in contact.

"We've certainly opened up the lines of communication and obviously we're happy to assist in any way we can."

The radio network involved, Southern Cross Austereo, says they will cooperate with all investigations.

The two presenters who made the call may talk publicly today.
