Australian man jailed for Facebook revenge stunt

By: ARN | International News | Monday April 23 2012 9:38

A warning for those seeking revenge on the internet.

An Australian man has been sent to jail for six months for posting nude pictures of his ex-girlfriend on Facebook.

It's the first conviction of its kind in Australia and one of just a handful in the world where there is now accountability for people abusing social networking sites.

The 20-year-old man admitted that he posted the pictures to hurt his ex girlfriend after she ended the relationship.
