The Vatican has opened up its secret archive and documents and parchments have been taken out of Vatican City for the very first time.
Italian Correspondent Jo McKenna says they're on show in the centre of Rome.
"Around 100 amazing documents including a document on the inquisition of the 16th century scientist Galileo Galilei, a letter from US president Abraham Lincoln."
She says there's also a letter from the British House of Lords in 1530 demanding the church allow Henry VIII divorce his wife.
