A magnitude 6.7 earthquake has struck the islands of Tonga. It was at a depth of 118 kilometres, and a destructive tsunami was not generated. There are no immediate reports of damage. The quake was located 78 kilometres from the town of Neiafu, on the south coast of the island Vava'u. |
