A doctor has won the Ernst and Young ' Young Entrepreneur Of The Year' award.

Dr Sam Hazledine is the managing director of MedRecruit, a medical recruitment agency he started in 2006 which looks to place doctors so they can have a career and a life.

"We think that happy doctors provide a better medical service and ultimately improve the standard of healthcare."

Mr Hazledine says down the track he's looking to expand from New Zealand and Australia to North America, Europe and the Middle East.
