Hidden salt in foods on the rise

The amount of hidden salt in our food is on the rise

A study has found salt levels have increased an average of nine percent since 2008.

Dr Robert Grenfell from Australia's Heart Foundation says it is a major concern.

"Salt itself is a principle cause of high blood pressure and we've been certainly been pushing for a decrease in the amount of salt that is in our processed foods."
