Kiwi designed first aid system a hit in Australia

By: Juliette Sivertsen | Latest Health News | Monday May 7 2012 11:34

A New Zealand-designed first aid system is proving to be highly successful across the Tasman.

Over 7000 of the rental kits are now being serviced in Australian workplaces, on top of the 4000 currently in place in New Zealand.

It makes the system one of the most successful Kiwi occupational health and safety innovations.

Designer and New Zealand Manager Gavin Smith says an increasing number of Australia businesses are now opting for this rental system, as they DIY approach doesn't meet the stringent OSH or Australian state requirements.

He says their managed rental programme removes the need to supply and check the kit themselves.
