TV watching kids more clumsy - study

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Health News | Thursday August 16 2012 7:48

A study claims children who spend hours watching TV or playing on a computer are more clumsy.

The Daily Mail reports that the study has found that those who sit around for most of the day are up to nine times less likely to have normal levels of coordination.

Even simple tasks like hopping and jumping are affected.

The researchers say even brief bursts of strenuous exercise don't make up for the damage apparently done by spending the rest of the day sitting.
