Lindsay Lohan to lose 500k ad deal

By: BANG Showbiz | Entertainment News | Thursday December 13 2012 8:03

Lindsay Lohan is set to lose a $500,000 advertising deal following her latest troubles.

The 'Liz & Dick' actress - who will appear in court in Los Angeles today, on three misdemeanour charges, including lying to police about a traffic accident in the summer - was in talks with clothing line Odaingerous to become its new spokesperson, but now the brand are thinking of pulling out of the lucrative deal as they don't want to be associated with her.

A source told website RadarOnline.com: "When Odaingerous first contacted Lindsay it seemed like a good fit because she was on the up-and-up. She had just signed to 'Liz & Dick' and was supposed to have this great career comeback.

"But none of that happened, and now even her agents are hesitant that she won't get her act together. Not only was Lindsay going to bank on this deal ... $500,000 just for the campaign, but her people were negotiating extra for her to make any appearances.

"There was going to be an announcement soon about Lindsay being the face of the company, but they don't exactly want their spokesperson to be in jail."

Lindsay is facing up to eight months in jail as a judge is expected to revoke her probation - which relates to a jewellery theft in 2011 - in court today.

The 26-year-old troubled actress is set to be formally charged with lying and reckless driving from her car crash in June

Lindsay has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.
