Actor-comedian Richard Dawson, who came to fame in the 1960s as one of TV's Hogan's Heroes, has died. The Emmy Award winner, who played Newkirk on the show, died from oesophageal cancer aged 79. Among his movies was 'The Running Man', with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Born in Britain, Dawson was once married to sex bomb Diana Dors. Photo: Getty Images |
