Motorcyclist killed in head on collision

A motorcyclist is dead after a head on collision on State Highway 23 near Whatawhata in the Waikato.

The lone occupant of the vehicle is badly shaken and is being attended to by ambulance officers.

The road is expected to be closed for another couple of hours.
