| Latest Emergency News | Saturday September 29 2012 17:45

Police are seeking public help finding a missing 53-year-old man who has the mental age of a 10-year-old.

Donald Wheatley left Auckland's Franklin district on Thursday.

He was sighted in Cambridge on the same day and may have been spotted in Tokoroa yesterday.

Caucasian with a bald head and no teeth, he is approximately 5ft 8 inches (173cm) in height and was last seen wearing blue track pants, a blue fleecy top and brown cowboy boots.

Mr Wheatley has a serious medical condition requiring him to take regular medication which he has not received since being reported missing.

He travels by bus and on foot and may be heading for Porirua.

Anyone who sees him is asked to urgently call the police.
