Logging truck rolls near Woodville

By: Katrina Bennett | Latest Emergency News | Thursday May 3 2012 8:18

A logging truck trailer has rolled near Woodville, spilling logs all over the road.

Caution's needed on one of the main roads diverting traffic from the Manawatu Gorge.

The gorge is still closed, making Saddle Road one of the key alternative routes.

A logging truck on the stretch of Saddle Road between Ashhurst and Woodville rolled just after 5.30am this morning.

The truck, trailer and logs are now off to the side of the road.

Police say traffic can pass with caution as one lane is open.
