Man cut free from car after crash in Auckland

A man has been cut free from a car after a crash with a truck in Auckland.

The crash occurred on Great South Road near Mt Richmond Drive in Mt Wellington.

Police say the man is in a critical condition.

Traffic is being diverted and expected to be in place for several hours.
