Overnight blaze in Gisborne

By: Blair Cunningham | Latest Emergency News | Saturday April 14 2012 9:06

Police are investigating just how a Gisborne house fire started last night.

The blaze took hold at the Alice Street, Kaiti flat just before ten o'clock and required four fire crews to put it out.

Crews were at the scene for nearly three hours and managed to save the house from complete destruction.

Fire safety investigators are working to determine the cause and police are also investigating.
