Interim name suppression continues for teacher

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Crime News | Friday February 15 2013 19:11

Interim name suppression will continue for a Christchurch teacher who pleaded guilty to filming up the skirts of teenage girls.

The middle-aged man pleaded guilty earlier this year to 20 charges of making secret intimate video recordings of 17 females using a pen camera.

The offending took place over five months, with some of the victims remaining unaware of the offending.

Judge Philip Moran today reserved his decision and granted interim suppression for another week.
