Police believe they've brought down a methamphetamine supply ring in Hawke's Bay. Thirty police from Hawke's Bay, including the Armed Offenders Squad, searched six houses and four cars in Napier and Hastings yesterday. Seven people have appeared in the Napier District Court today on charges of supply, conspiracy to supply, and possession for supply. Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Foster, says a large amount of the methamphetamine was seized during the raids, as well as ecstasy pills, LSD and other substances yet to be analysed. They also found several thousand dollars in cash, and a loaded sawn-off shotgun was discovered in one Napier house. Photo: NZ Herald |
