A woman in her 20s has been caught drink driving in Auckland with a three-year-old child unrestrained in the car.
She had a reading of 628 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath - the legal limit is 400.
The woman was one of a hundred people found with excess breath alcohol in the Auckland region over the weekend as part of a blitz that saw over 17 thousand people stopped.
A hundred people were detected driving with excess breath alcohol, with another three suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
The highest reading was from a 27-year-old man who blew over a thousand micrograms.
