Bus driver bashing not an isolated incident

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Crime News | Sunday April 29 2012 8:59

The bashing and robbery of a bus driver in Lower Hutt appears not to be an isolated incident.

64-year-old Herman Curry couldn't be revived after being found with head injuries at the Waterloo Interchange on Friday night.

NZ Bus chief Zane Fulljames says there have been several cases of cash boxes being taken from drivers.

There's no CCTV footage where Mr Curry died, and other drivers say they fear for their lives after recent attacks.
