Police investigating suspicious death in Rotorua

| Latest Crime News | Tuesday October 23 2012 13:32

Rotorua police are investigating a suspicious death in the city.

A house in the suburb of Fordlands has been cordoned off, after a woman in her 30s died overnight.

Senior Sergeant Michael Collins says the woman's body has since been removed and a post mortem examination will be carried out in Auckland today.

He says until they get the results of the autopsy, they will continue to treat the death as suspicious.

The cordon around the house is likely to stay up until police have been informed of how the woman died.
