By: Dana Kinita | Latest Crime News | Tuesday February 12 2013 12:16

Whangarei Police have arrested a 22 year old woman following an armed robbery this morning.

Acting sergeant Ken Andrews says she entered the Tikipunga Foodmart and threatened the shopkeeper with a pairing knife.

It's alleged she took a can of soft drink before fleeing the scene.

Police soon found her and she's set to appear in the district court today.
