A 32-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving and driving under the influence of a controlled drug following a crash last month on the Hawke's Bay Expressway. The driver and a three-year-old child were injured when a car did a u-turn in front of a truck near the Meeanee overbridge. The young boy was thrown from the car. A woman who was also travelling in the car has been charged with criminal nuisance, in relation to the three year old not being in a child car seat. Photo: NZ Herald |
