Man charged with two-month-old's murder

A Whanganui man has been charged with the murder of a two-month-old baby.

Hinekawa Topia was taken to hospital by her parents in January with a non-accidental head injury and attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.

A 29-year-old man will appear in the Whanganui District Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Neil Forlong says recent medical information has come to hand and has led to the man's arrest.
