Kim Dotcom's lawyer says his client is disappointed at being kept in custody, and insists he's not a flight risk.
Paul Davison is representing the alleged internet pirate, whose High Court appeal against a decision to deny him bail has been thrown out.
He says his client maintains his innocence.
Mr Davison says Kim Dotcom has made a home for himself and his family in New Zealand, and has no intention of doing anything other than staying here and fighting extradition.
He says the suggestion Dotcom would take extraordinary steps to leave the country is a flight of fancy.
