By: Anna Cross | Latest Crime News | Friday August 17 2012 19:23

Kapiti police investigating the death of teenager Izak Milanta have made a number of unrelated arrests in connection to other alleged assaults which happened on the same night.

The 17-year-old was found unconscious by police at the back of KFC in Coastlands car park last Saturday morning and died in Wellington Hospital the following day.

Detective Inspector Mike Johnson says as a result of enquiries into his death, police have become aware of other alleged assaults and fights that took place in the car park areas on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Four men, aged between 19 and 26, have been arrested and face charges of assault, fighting in a public place and injuring with intent to injure.
