Police have arrested 10 members of a south Auckland street gang for property crime offences. Inspector Chris de Wattingnar of Counties Manukau Police says the charges related to 45 burglaries over the past six months. The group, who are part of the Mangere-based HFK street gang, have been charged with a variety of offences ranging from burglary, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and participation in an organised criminal group. They've have appeared in the Manukau District Court today and have been remanded to reappear tomorrow. Photo: NZ Herald |
