Police focus on two cars in Rae Portman case

Police are sill looking for information about the movements of two vehicles, as they continue investigating the killing of pregnant woman Rae Portman.

They believe a body they found at a rural property in Ardmore south of Auckland, is hers.

A man has been charged with kidnapping the 33-year-old, and may face further charges.

Investigation head Detective Inspector Mark Gutry is still looking for information a yellow Commodore ute with the registration "LCKDUP" in June.

"We believe that that vehicle, and a black Astina, that belonged to Rae Portman, travelled to Hamilton and back throughout the night of the 20th - 21st. Information around that would be very helpful to us."
