By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Crime News | Monday August 20 2012 17:08

Invercargill police have arrested a 55-year-old local man over 24 theft and fraud charges relating to military medals belonging to returned servicemen and their families.

It follows allegations medals sent for mounting were either not returned, or replaced with fakes.

The man's already appeared in court and has been bailed to appear again on Friday.
