Former All Black admits to Te Aroha assault

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Crime News | Sunday December 30 2012 8:21

Former All Black Keith Robinson has admitted hitting a man, and pelting him with bottles.

The man was left unconscious and bleeding outside a hotel in Te Aroha as a result of the stoush.

Robinson has since admitted a charge of injuring with intent, and his lawyer says he takes full responsibility for the attack.

It happened after a group of about 50 had been on a boozy "man-cave" tour in Te Aroha, which involved drinking games and throwing kegs of beer around.

The New Zealand Herald reports Robinson will be sentenced in Hamilton District Court next month.
