Sex offenders' behaviour not tolerated - police

By: Joya Devine | Latest Crime News | Tuesday September 25 2012 15:32

Nelson police are warning sex offenders their behaviour will not be tolerated.

William Mortenson was sentenced to preventive detention in the High Court in Nelson.

The 53-year-old faced child sexual abuse charges, indecencies with animals, and distributing child pornography.

Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Johnston from Tasman Police says anyone engaging in this kind of behaviour will be caught, and punished accordingly.
