Police on the Kapiti Coast say there doesn't appear to be a link between this morning's killing of a 20-year-old and the death of a teenager just a month ago. The 20-year-old man was stabbed to death after a fight in a carpark in Paraparaumu just before 1am this morning. A person aged in their 20s is being spoken to by officers. The death comes a month after 17-year-old Izak Millanta was killed in a nearby shopping centre carpark, but Area Commander Inspector John Price says both don't appear to be related. Inspector Price says police did have extra officers patrolling the streets last night. Photo: NZ Herald |
