Police on the hunt for Cameron Ashby

Hamilton police are seeking public assistance in helping find a man with a 12 year history of violent criminal history.

In 2005,Cameron Ashby was imprisoned for ten years, but was later released on parole.

Senior Sergeant Freda Grace says Ashby has since breached his parole conditions, and is being recalled back to custody.

Senior Sergeant Grace says he has a history of carrying around knifes or firearms, and says he should not be approached.

He is Maori, of medium build and about 180cm tall.
