Homicide investigation launched after fatal stabbing

Tauranga Police have launched a homicide investigation after the death of a woman this afternoon.

Emergency Services were called to an address on Bell Road in Judea, to a dispute between a man and a woman.

When police arrived, they found the woman dead by the driveway to the property.

Police believe they know who the woman is, but need to formally identify her, and notify next of kin.

They say a man is helping with their enquiries.
