Police investigating the murder of Auckland prostitute Jane Furlong believe a man by the name of Tommy could provide key information to the case. A homicide investigation was launched in May after the skeleton of the 17-year-old was found at Port Waikato, 19 years after she went missing. Detective Inspector Mark Benefield says Tommy is a name they discovered in her diary. "Jane wrote in her diary a name of a person we believe was asking to hire Jane for a night. And we just want to try and make sure who that person is and see what his relationship was with Jane." Photo: Facebook |
