Business community reaction to Budget positive

By: Blair Cunningham | Business News | Friday May 25 2012 17:49

Generally positive reaction from the business community today to Budget 2012.

Prime Minister John Key has delivered a post budget speech to a group of 800 business leaders in Auckland.

PWC managing partner of markets Bruce Baillie says Mr Key was talking to a friendly crowd but the reaction has been a favourable one for him.

"The areas they want to spend money in health and education make sense and they don't have a lot of room to move. At the end of the day I think 'predictable' is probably the term I'd use."
