Dip in service sector performance

By: Sam Thompson | Business News | Monday July 16 2012 16:35

There's been a dip in the performance of the service sector, but optimism remains that it's on the right track.

The latest Performance of Services Index shows growth has fallen 2.3 points compared with May.

There's continued volatility, with some parts of the sector doing extremely well and others not.

Business New Zealand chief executive Phil O'Reilly says the fact that the services index has been in growth for a long period of time, indicates the robust nature of our services sector.
