Company behind Shanton in receivership

| Business News | Tuesday October 9 2012 15:22

The company behind retail chain Shanton has gone into receivership.

Shanton has 39 stores across the country, and was formed in 2004.

The Companies Office says Anthony Harris has been appointed as receiver.

Shanton Clothing's receiver says all 39 shops will continue trading pending completion of a going-concern sale.

Anthony Harris says store employees have been offered re-employment, and will receive all outstanding wages within a week.

He says gift vouchers, credits, refunds and laybys will be honoured in full.
