On the markets, the NZX50 is up 19 points to 3924.

Contact is up $0.11 to $5.45 and Freightway is also up $0.11 to $4.39.

The New Zealand dollar is trading at 81.81 US cents, 80.5 Australian cents, 63 Euro cents, 64.27 Yen and 60.79 pence.

The 90 bank bill rate is 2.64 percent and the TWI is 73.08
