New Zealand Winegrowers has elected a new chairman. Carrick Winery boss Steve Green has been named to takeover from Stuart Smith, who's leaving the role after six years. Mr Green says Kiwi winegrowers have faced tough seasons over the past two years, but are in a good position. He says the New Zealand wine industry will continue to grow, but only if winegrowers band together to present a united front on the global stage. Gisborne grape grower John Clarke will join Mr Green as deputy chair. Photo: stock.xchng |
