Economic disaster not inevitable here - Key

By: Felix Marwick | Business News | Tuesday May 22 2012 11:05

Financial uncertainty in Europe's a concern for the Prime Minister but he maintains economic disaster isn't inevitable here.

John Key says the Government is concerned about the situation in Europe, describing it as serious.

But he says that has been the situation for quite some time.

"The situation is more volatile and risky now than it was probably three months ago but that doesn't mean that this situation won't blow over."
