Dairy products have pushed up the country's exports over the last quarter.
According to Statistics New Zealand's latest data, exports are up 5.1 percent, since the June quarter, to $11.9 billion.
That increase was led by a rise in the value of milk powder, butter and cheese.
On the other side of the coin, imports have fallen 1.3 percent to $11.8 billion.
